WE RELATE IN the book of Ibn as-Sunnī from ‘Abdullāh ibn Mas‘ūd 
who reported: “I came to the Messenger of Allah 
and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, Allah 
has killed Abū Jahl.’ He said: ‘Praise be to Allah, Who has helped His servant and given glory to His religion.’” [1].
