We relate in the Ṣaḥīḥs of al-Bukhārī and Muslim from Anas 
, who narrated that the Messenger of Allah 
went out to the Trench while the Muhājirūn and the Anṣār were digging on a cold morning. When he saw their exhaustion and hunger he said: “O Allah, the true life is the life Hereafter, so forgive the Helpers and the Emigrants.” [3].
