WE RELATE FROM the Ṣaḥīḥ s of al-Bukhārī and Muslim from ‘Abdullāh ibn Mas‘ūd who said: “I came to the Prophet while he was sick. I touched him and said: ‘You are really unwell.’ He said: ‘Yes, I am as unwell as two of you men.’ ”
