Remembrance 32 from Chapter 337
Supplications (da‘awāt) which are mustaḥabb at all times
Arabic
Romanisation
Lā ilāha illā Anta subḥānaka innī kuntu mina-ẓ-ẓālimīn.
Context
We relate in [the same book] from Sa‘d ibn Abī Waqqāṣ
who reported that the Messenger of Allah
said: “The supplication of Dhū an-Nūn to his Lord while he was in the belly of the fish was, ‘There is no god but You. Glory be to You, indeed I have been one of the wrongdoers.’ No Muslim supplicates with this for anything without his prayer being answered.” [41].According to al-Ḥākim Abū ‘Abdullāh, this has a ṣaḥīḥ isnād.
