What to say to one’s companion when seeing him in new clothes

Albis jadīdā, wa ‘ish ḥamīdā, wa mut shahīdan sa‘īdā.
Context
We relate in the books of Ibn Mājah and Ibn as-Sunnī that Ibn ‘Umar 
narrated that the Messenger of Allah 
saw a garment on ‘Umar and asked: “Is this new or washed?” He said: “It is washed.” So he said: “Wear new things, live laudably, and die as a shahīd, blessedly.” [2].
