Allāhumma alhimnī rushdī, wa a‘idhnī min sharri nafsī.
Context
And we relate from the same source that ‘Imrān ibn al-Ḥuṣayn
reported that the Prophet
taught his father Ḥusayn two things to say when supplicating: “O Allah, inspire me with right guidance and give me refuge from the evil of my self.” [35].According to at-Tirmidhī, this is a ḥasan hadith.
