Context
WE RELATE FROM the book of Ibn as-Sunnī from Ibn ‘Umar
, who reported that the Messenger
asked: “Is there anything to prevent any of you, when earning his livelihood becomes difficult, from saying when he goes out of his house: ‘With the name of Allah on myself, my wealth and my religion. O Allah, make me pleased with Your decree, and bless me in that which I have been allotted, so that I do not like to hasten what You have delayed, or to delay that which You have hastened’?” [1].
