Al-ḥamdu li-llāhi-lladhī ‘āfānī mim-ma-btalāka bihi wa faḍḍalanī ‘alā kathīrin mimman khalaqa tafḍīlā.

Context

WE RELATE FROM the book of at-Tirmidhī that Abū Hurayrah Honorific symbol related that the Messenger of Allah Honorific symbol said: “Whoever sees an afflicted person and says: ‘Praise be to Allah, Who has protected me from that with which He has afflicted you, and has favoured me greatly over many of those whom He created’ will not suffer from the same affliction.” [1].At-Tirmidhī describes this hadith as ḥasan.
