Context
It is ḥarām for a person charged with responsibility (mukallaf) to speak to a man’s slave, wife, son or servant etc., about something that will degrade him in their sight, unless what they say involves enjoining good and forbidding evil. Allah
says: “Help one another in righteousness and piety, but help not one another in sin and rancour.” [53].
